Cody Cameron is a Professional Geologist with over 15 years of experience in the geoscience industry. Cody is the owner/operator of Cassiar Geoscience Consulting Ltd. which specializes in various aspects of groundwater science (hydrogeology). Cody has had a broad career in hydrogeology and has worked with consulting firms that specialize in contaminated sites (physical and chemical hydrogeology), mine permitting, groundwater supply, landfill design and monitoring, geotechnical engineering, and geoexchange.

Laurence is Owner and Wildlife Ecologist of Ardea Biological Consulting. He has an extensive background in resource management, with over 30 years experience in ecology and wildlife management issues. Laurence has worked in both coastal and interior B.C., the Yukon and the N.W.T. for a variety of government and industry clients. He has been involved in projects that have included literature reviews, policy development, wildlife population inventories, fish and wildlife habitat assessments, wildlife suitability mapping and modeling, vegetation and ecosystem mapping, research planning and evaluation, data synthesis and analysis, report preparation and environmental impact assessment.

Darren is a registered professional biologist (RPBio. P.Biol.) and (B.C.) Provincial Instructor Diploma graduate, with 33 years of experience in fisheries and environmental management, consulting, as well as educational leadership, training design and program delivery. Darren teaches NRTG’s Electrofishing Certification, Fish Habitat Assessment Level One, and Streambank Restoration programs. A highly regarded and trusted training leader, Darren has a wealth of experience designing, building and managing training organizations and delivering training programs on behalf of community groups, post-secondary institutes, and private industry.

Rick is an applied anthropologist who has worked within the realm of Indigenous cultural resources for nearly 25 years. Rick attended the University of Western Ontario where he received his BA in Anthropology. Later, he completed a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Archaeology and Master’s Degree in Anthropology/First Nations Studies/Archaeology at Simon Fraser University. Today, Rick teaches anthropology, archaeology, history, and sociology at the Northwest Community College. He also volunteers time for several government, industry and Aboriginal committees, as well as at local elementary and secondary schools.

Ashleigh Ballevona, is a Registered Professional Biologist and Project Manager with over 13 years of professional experience in wildlife ecology and environmental impact assessment. She has extensive project management experience and is skilled at coordinating multidisciplinary teams for complex projects, working with Indigenous peoples, and engaging with agencies.

Ashleigh received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Winnipeg and has been a member of the College of Applied Biology since 2008. In her spare time Ashleigh volunteers with BC Community Bat Program and the Northwest Animal Shelter.

NWRM's financial manager learned her bookkeeping skills while running an automotive business with her husband, Duncan in Burns Lake, where she grew up. During her four years living in Edmonton, she completed an online certificate through Okanagan College before returning to Smithers six years ago. Barb shares her working hours between Crossroads, NWRM and her father's Burns Lake-based logging business.
